Mobile Science Exhibition (Lab on Wheels) flagged off at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre
The GYS Avishkar Awards 2025, a national-level science competition under the GETA Young Scientists Programme, was held in New Delhi on October 29, 2025. Over 1,000 students from 25 states showcased innovative projects, with Shri Jiwaiso Bellai from Arunachal Pradesh winning the National First Prize for his project on preventing road accidents. The event celebrated young innovators driving scientific and social change.

Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science & Technology (APSCS&T) was set up in 1992 as an autonomous organization under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Extension to Arunachal Pradesh), 1978.
APSCST is the Nodal Agency for implementation of the programmes of Department of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The council functions through its divisions viz. Science and Technology, Biotechnology, Science Centre and Patent information Centre.
